  • Resort check-in and check-out times?
You can check in any time after 4pm. While we would love to offer flexible arrival and departure times, the amount of time to clean our homes, prevents us from providing you with a guarantee, especially during our summer months - please plan accordingly. Check out is by 10:00 am.
  • What do I need at check-in?
You will need a photo ID, license plate numbers for any vehicles you will have on property, and the names of all individuals who will be staying in the unit. For guests under age 18, ages will be required as well. If someone other than the name on the reservation will be picking up keys and/or paying a portion of the remaining balance, please provide this information in advance by calling Kristina at 417/338-2331. We will authorize your card for the $200 damage deposit before check-in and those funds will be released upon check-out as long as no damage has occured.
  • Is smoking allowed?
There is absolutley no smoking of any substance in our homes, pool and dock area. A damage/cleaning fee may be charged if any cigarette or other smoke is detected.

  • What supplies should I bring and what's in the unit?
Guests should provide all toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, etc. Don't forget your bathing suit and pool or lake towels if you plan to use the water amenities. Table service and basic cookware is provided as well as dish soap, dishwasher tabs and coffee filters. We have a basic 12-cup coffee pot in each unit. There is a small supply of trash bags, toilet tissue, paper towels and laundry detergent in each unit, but you may need to bring extra for your stay.
  • Are linens and towels provided?
Antlers Resort provides bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels. You should bring pool or lake towels if you plan to use the water amenities. There is no maid or towel service, but we do have washer/dryer in each unit.
  • Where do we take our trash?
All trash must be taken to the dumpsters - we have them available in two different places on the property. It is very important that no trash is left on any of the porches, as racoons are very friendly and hungry in our area. Dock Use: any trash accumulated while visiting the dock area should be brought back up to the dumpsters as well.
  • Are there BBQ grills?
We provide grills and propane/propane reimbursement for the units. They are to be cleaned throughout your stay and the fat trays should be emptied regularly. If the grill is not clean on your check-out, you will be charged a $50 fee.
  • What's available at the lake/dock area?
We have an 18-slip dock. Slip rental is $25/night and is available on a first-come, first-served basis with a 2 slip maximum. Please contact Kristina if you need to reserve a slip. Our dock does have electric, so if you would like to bring lake toys that require air, please make sure you bring the necessary tools, etc. All items need to be stowed each night in your slip area.
  • What activities are available on the grounds?
We have our resort pools and hot tubs, an 18 slip dock, and complimentary water toys. At this time, we do not have a gym, game room or playground.
